- Receiver
- The receiver is the part of the hearing aid that includes the receiver wire and speaker. The speaker (covered by a silicone ear tip) is what goes into your ear canal.
- Silicone Ear Tip
- The ear tip is the part of the hearing aid that covers the speaker that goes into the ear canal; it is soft and replaceable. Ear tips may also be referred to as domes in some cases. At Concha Labs, we call them ear tips.
- Wax Filter
- Wax filters are tiny inserts with small holes that are designed to prevent the ear wax from entering and damaging the speaker (which is covered by the ear tip). Concha Sol™ Hearing Aids come with a pack of replacement wax filters.
-
- Receiver Wire
- The receiver wire connects the speaker to the body of the hearing aid. Concha Sol™ comes in four different sizes (0-4); the size indicates the length of the receiver wire.
- Rocker Switch
- The rocker switch is a button on the back of the hearing aid that allows users to adjust volume and mute the hearing aid.
- Battery Compartment
- The battery compartment is where you insert batteries. Pull the latch to open the battery compartment. When the compartment door is open, the hearing aid is turned off.
