When you open the Concha Labs app for the first time, follow the instructions to check the fit of your hearing aids and ear tips. The app will describe what a proper fit should feel like, so you can assess the comfort accurately. Next, you’ll see instructions to pair your hearing aids with your phone via Bluetooth. The app will guide you through this process.
Note: The hearing aids should be removed from both ears for proper Bluetooth pairing.
- Power on both hearing aids by inserting the batteries and closing the battery doors.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. You can find this setting in Settings > Bluetooth. When you toggle the switch “on”, it turns green. Alternatively, pull down from the upper right hand corner of your home screen to access the Control Center. Here, you can push the Bluetooth button (which looks like
) as shown in the video below. When Bluetooth is turned on, the button turns blue.
- Follow the app’s instructions to pair the hearing aids to your phone.
- Power off other audio Bluetooth devices, such as hearing aids or Bluetooth speakers.
- Turn on Bluetooth and grant permissions by visiting Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth > toggle on Concha Labs.
